The geeky bits are this. Podcasts are a lot more interesting if you are actually out and about and on the go and quite silly if you are sitting at home at your computer. BBC has released an iPhone specific page to listen to BBC/Radio 1 podcasts.

A new study from Paragon Media Strategies found that nearly three-quarters of 14-24-year-olds spend most of their music-listening time with music sources other than radio — and when they do listen to radio, they’re looking to hear new music.
