Mogwai kicks off MusicFestNW 2008

Mogwai turned in a blistering set on Wednesday night at the Roseland to kick off this year’s MusicFestNW. Last night I caught up with No Age at the Wonder Ballroom, video of them playing and a backstage interview coming very soon.

    Mogwai played quite a long set and were excellent! I believe it was the second to last song which reminded everyone that drifting off to sleep was a bad idea.

    I went without ear protection which is a serious ‘no no’ when it comes to Mogwai shows, and they definitely did some damage. So far it seems worth it. :)
