Pampelmoose on the radio tonight, Portland’s 94.7FM
I wrote last week on how Portland radio station 94.7FM is including an hour of each weeknight dedicated to new music - that means music that doesn’t normally hit the 94.7 playlists. It includes music from local Portland and Northwest artists, songs from upcoming new releases from national acts, music from underground indie artists as well as cool underground hip hop and electronica. The show runs from 8PM to 9PM and is hosted by Squid.
Tonight I will be joining Squid on air to play select cuts from all the incoming MP3s I receive here at Pampelmoose. If you look at the list above you can see the list of bands that I will be choosing from and if you see any that you really want to hear on air tonight then you have until about 7:45PM to let me know by commenting here. I’m definitely spinning the new cut ‘Furr’ from Blitzen Trapper’s new album, ‘Furr.’ Click that link to pre-order the album.

I think Dykeritz, Mogwai, Radiohead and Blitzen Trapper should definitely be in the mix…Maybe even Bryne/Eno.

Well I’m embarrassed to say there ain’t much on there I”m familiar with…which of course makes me all the more excited for the show. Definitely interested to hear what Byrne, Eno, and Radiohead are up to these days. Here’s hoping my transmitter…will be pickin’ up something good…
