So, Johnny Penn and Aaron Aujla aka, Bikini, took note of my submission policy, that means they win the top spot. For multiple reasons actually - 1. I like their laid back electro beats and pulses. 2. They sent in a jpeg along with the MP3s. 3. They’re good. And 4. They made my day a tiny bit easier….see it doesn’t take much. All the way from Montreal to head up the front page of the Moose for a day. They have an EP to be released on 7/7/08 entitled “Concerning The Number 7 And Your Love” and you can find more at their MySpace.

Fun sound, but i think that a song has to be at least 5 years old before it is covered by someone else. “1234″ is just too recent, folks. Think of all the Hall & Oates songs out there that are untouched, people! Or maybe those Montreal / Toronto folks are just tighter with each other.
