muxtape from pampelmoose, portland via nyc and back again
In one of those 6º of separation moments I found myself emailing Justin who runs the Muxtape mixtape-sharing web site wondering why I couldn’t register on the site with the username ‘Pampelmoose.’ He said he’d look into it and also said he enjoys Gang of Four [which is always nice to hear] and that he was surprised to hear that I was living in Portland because that was his hometown - he’s now based in New York. So he does his detective work and discovers that Nick, who regularly comments here at the Moose site, had registered Pampelmoose on Muxtape for some reason…..anyway to complete the circle of this rambling post, Nick is also from Portland. haha…yes. My silliness. I found muxtape a while back and loved the idea, and the fact that Justin was from Portland. So I (out of character) snagged a few of my favorite pdx people’s names for them before someone else might evilly do so (I hate when my user name is already taken). I gave Jonny Ragel from Boy Eats Drum Machine his account info, but hadn’t emailed Dave yet. Boooo!
