Dude, where’s my hype?

What the hell happened to you, record industry? You used to be so fun. One week away from the ‘official’ release of my already favorite album of 2008 and nothing peppy detected from Island. In fact, that is the saddest label artist profile I’ve ever seen. There’s roughly, I don’t know, ZERO content. Shame on you, Island Records! Can’t you make putting out a Portishead record just a little bit peppy?
*sigh*
Here’s a ‘pick-me-up’: Portishead - Hunter

I was in HMV the other week and they had Dummy and Portihead on some special promotion for the build up to the release of Third.

But I like shiny discs.
I am such a luddite when it comes to music.
