   I registered to download this from their official web site, assuming I would be sent a download link.

   I was sent a download link a few days later, it expired after 6 hours.

   Some of us need to sleep every now and again. Nice one coldplay.

   Dave…curious if you ever had any encounters with Eno. I have serious Eno damage over Tiger Mountain and Here Come The Warm Jets…Blank Frank and Dead Finks Don’t Talk are standouts for me. But then again, I enjoyed 20 Jazz Funk Greats by Throbbing Gristle too, so I expect my judgement is questionable. Heh…

   I met Eno and David Byrne outside the Gramercy Park hotel in NYC the early 80’s. I was with Barry Andrews when we were playing in Shriekback together. He knows Eno so we all stood and chatted on the sidewalk for a few minutes…..that was it.

   I just ended up torrenting it (before you posted this), and you’re right, it’s nothing special. I just found it ridiculous that they would try to ‘do a radiohead lol’ and end up just pissing me (and no doubt others) off.

   I mean, I spend a lot of time on my pc, but it’s not even a bit of a stretch to imagine that I might be away from my PC for 6 hours.

   It seems like they don’t really understand the internet.

   Coldplay–didn’t they rip off Kraftwerk for that big hit of theirs? I seem to remember hearing that Komputer Liebe sequence all over the radio and wondering who had the cajones to rip off Florian and company without so much as a single slurred W or a one-two-three-four in German…

   Oh, the agony.
