Cnet reports today that as fast as Led Zeppelin fans posted their cell phone videos to YouTube the band’s label, Warner Bros Records, demanded that they be removed. These kind of actions by any record label or band management borders on the absurd these days. No further comment required. The New York Times’ Ben Ratliff was in London to review the show.

The entire show was a benefit for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, which offers music students scholarships to universities in the United States, England, and Turkey, his homeland.

@billy, well they didn’t technically approach YouTube themselves but their proxy did - from the link you posted - “Rather, it was a company called GrayZone, which has been authorized to issue takedown notices on behalf of Warner.”
