conan o’brien visits intel - hilarity ensues…

Conan -”First of all Don I like what you’ve done with the grey here, this grey works well with this grey and (points to carpet) it all works well with this greyish-blue.” And after getting the Intel explanation about having workers in the cube farm - “It’s good. It makes people feel that they’re all basically the same, that there is no individuality, no hope, no sense that life has possibilities……”
Have a look here, you will laugh, you will cry….

Yup, that’s what it is, whether you are in America or Argentina. Every employee, from the bottom to the top, has a cube, including CEO Paul Otellini - no offices. My cube is in JF1-2 next to pole F10. Fortunately, 99% of the time i’m in a colorful tiki-themed video production lab (JF1-2 next to pole C12), so my cube is quite empty.
Perhaps this video prompted new ideas – since Intel is considering updating their cube farms to a more open configuration. In my building, one floor is getting the treatment to see how it works out.

Somebody already stole my cube chair. I blame Conan.
