I drank the Girl Talk kool-aid
Since we began adding fresh MP3s to the site each week, courtesy of a web app called Peel, I’ve been amazed at the amount of great stuff out there that bands just happily post for the world to hear and download. Here’s my top ten faves from September in no particular order:

White Chalk…what an odd turn for PJH! Not a bad one, though. I detect a bit of early Lush influence on the vocals on parts of this album, though probably not intended. Good choice tho, in a best-of in my own humble opinion :-)

Baxter, yes. On a Mac, control click on the MP3 link select ’save link as’ on PC right click.
