mojib unkle meets notwist mash up

I was as usual surfing the ‘net this morning and armed with a steaming cup of Stumptown Hairbender to keep me company all felt good. I popped onto the 3hive site which I do often because they post the most refreshing and eclectic mix of MP3s [their motto is 'sharing the sharing'] and I discovered Mojib. I may be late to the party here as I’ve missed Mojib before today. His atmospheric mash up rendering of U.N.K.L.E. and The Notwist was a wonderful find for a Sunday morning - check it out below. I also added his remix of Ian Brown’s Upside Down to the MP3 section above; it’s another treat.

[...] One of my favorite discoveries this year was music from Staffan Ulmert aka Mojib. His remixes of Ian Brown and U.N.K.L.E. were sonic surprises given that I’m not a huge fan of either act. The biggest surprise last week though was that his remix of Videotape from Radiohead’s In Rainbows was out so soon - he clearly was in on the deal. Check it out below.
