bloc party video

This is an odd video clip…basically what we have here is Bloc Party members Kele Okerekethe and Gordon Moakes discussing the song Song for Clay from their new album A Meeting in the City. The song plays in the background while the band members discuss it - it’s sort of like having the director talk you through the movie in your DVD extras area - sometimes interesting, sometimes annoying. Anyway, Pitchfork and Brooklyn Vegan are making a series of these videos so it’s thanks to them for providing the action.

No offense to the Bloc Party but that was a little painful to watch. trying to listen to them talk while listening to the music was rather dificult, sort of like watching Crouching Tiger’s action scenes and reading the subtitles at the same time.
