alela diane at home..
On Saturday January 20th I ran all over Portland to interview three different bands for the Moose podcast. First stop was at the home of the very lovely and incredibly talented Alela Diane who very graciously talked about her upbringing in Nevada City, California and how she wrote her amazing album The Pirate’s Gospel while traveling in Europe. In this video clip she explains why her latest release is only available in England and why it’s on vinyl only. The full podcast interview featuring music from Alela will be posted next week.
I also had the pleasure of interviewing Menomena about their new CD which hits the stores soon, that interview will be the first to post maybe even tonight…and last, but by no means least, I talked with another of my favorite bands, Trespassers William. Their interview will post very soon too.
