I must appear a bit of a stalker having posted twice in as many days, but I wanted to say cheers, as I just finished an excellent interview with Jon of Boy Eats Drum Machine, thanks to your entry here. It will appear on Gearwire soonest, but wanted to give credit where credit is due–I was unaware of BEDM til reading ’bout them here…nice one! I do confess that I get a bit evangelistic about indie groups I suddenly discover, hence the interview and coming-soon write up.

Hi Man, Posting is good! Even stalking could have it’s merits too….. and I’m glad the Moose blog turned you on to BEDM, that’s why it’s here after all…don’t I owe you an email about Wet Confetti too?

Allo! A Wet Confetti interview would be super!
In the meantime, the Boy Eats Drum Machine interview is available for your reading pleasure:

I’m really digging BEDM’s almost-Morricone vibe of Si(x)cuse Me…there’s some shades of John Carpenter’s scores in there too, but Carpenter is so obviously influenced by the Maestro that one may as well just mention Ennio and be done with it…but I blather.

Many thanks to Dave Allen and Wet Confetti’s Alberta Poon for the excellent interview Alberta gave me this week. Alberta speaks her mind at:

And while I’m thinking of it, I was plenty amused by Wet Confetti’s video submission to Nike as part of some kind of contest the Swooshy-Shoe people were putting on. It’s available on the WetConfetti.com site as a YouTube vid. Nice stuff. Hey Confetti people, COME TO CHICAGO! The Double Door has a lovely sushi bar down the road, as Dave will attest.
