pdx ripped #5, a weekly podcast

This week’s podcast feels a little more rocking than usual. Portland’s Boy Eats Drum Machine and, in a slight diversion from the norm, Eugene’s The Ovulators, are two stand out bands for me. And The High Violets, who I’d sort of dismissed as too shoegazer for my tastes have a really strong cut, Love is Blinding.
1. The High Violets - Love is Blinding from the album To Where You Are.
2. Point Juncture, WA - Happy Ending from the album Mama Auto Boss.
3. Boy Eats Drum Machine - Pleasure Theme Song from the album Pleasure.
4. The Ovulators - Satellite of Love from the album The Ovulators.
5. The Village Green - The Way I Want to Be from the album of the same name.

Hey Dave! Thanks for throwing my song “The Way I want To Be” up here. Just to clarify… That song is actually off of our EP which is self titled/self released. Anyway, thanks again for including it on your podcast.
