I have renewed faith in rock music. Just as local boy Copy gave me renewed faith in the sublime use of the keytar in amongst his positively cool electro beats, The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s proved tonight that there is hope for new horizons in rock. Karen O has such an inescapebly magnetic presence that all bets are off once she enters the stage, and the band, augmented tonight by extra guitarist and keyboard player, Imaad Wasif, happily deliver the sonic wall she needs to lean back on. It turns out that P-Town had them on edge tonight, as I discovered after the show…to be continued…..
