coldplay say goodbye - unfortunately not

Coldplay have told fans they have no plans to split up, after comments made by singer Chris Martin led to speculation they were calling it quits. Martin said “we won’t see you for a long time” while accepting the Brit award for best British album for X&Y earlier this week. (This is the interesting part - it’s all about Wall St. at the end of the day) His comments sent the share price of their music company EMI sliding. But a spokesman for the band said Coldplay were “not quitting” and would be starting work on new material soon. EMI’s shares plunged on the news.
