Wilson High kicks off in snowboard competition

Portland’s Wilson High School snowboarding team competed for the first time last weekend. Their first Boardercross competition was a great success. The men’s and women’s Varsity 1 teams both took second place.
The team is part of the Oregon Interscholastic Snowboarding Association

Starbucks jumps into movie distribution

Starbucks has announced that having shaken up the way music is retailed and distributed, by offering CDs for sale in its stores, it will now do the same for movies starting with the Lions Gate release Akeelah and the Bee
