Carlos about this issue, and he laughed derisively at Neil Young and the "holes in digital" concept...but then again, Cheap Trick did record with Steve Albini, the most aggro anti-digital guy in practically the whole universe (at least in the past-dunno how he does it now)...me, I think whatever gets you through the night is great as long as you aren't using Zoom guitar effects presets.
