There’s too many sad days! I loved Pink Floyd for over 40 years and Richard was always there. I can’t believe he’s gone. It feels as if I knew him personally, but I didn’t, i was one of the many fans, although we did say hello many times. My mum died in August and now Richard and its bought all kinds of memories back. I was 3 the first time I say Pink Floyd, mum took me to Pompeii.

RIP RW, you were one of the best!

R.I.P. Richard Wright,

From countless concerts in New England backin teh 1970’s and 80’s,to listening to you on FM, 8-track, cassette, CD and DVD, you were always GREAT! When you released Dark Side of The Moon, we made a tribute to Pink Floyd at th Milford Quarries in Milford,MA while listening to your band from the loadspeakers of a van,parked along the waters edge.

We will all miss you and look forward to seeing you again one day on the Dark Side of The Moon…

I will never forget those gigs at Earls Court in 1980 and ‘81. Nothing ever affected me in the way Floyd’s music did in the seventies and eighties. I never dreamed that all these years on my sons would feel the same. We’ve all lost something very special. RIP and thank you for everything you meant to a whole generation.

I too am gutted by the passing away of a man I have never met but with whom I have lived every day for more than 35 years.

Rick, your music enchanted me and lightened the darker days of my life. It took me to places that I can only describe as beyond extasy.

I echo the sentiments already expressd and I truly hope that you can indeed hear the grateful thanks of those of us who remain.
