Well, just for the ones who wish to know, I played his new music for my kids and thier friends from school, (considerable number) They like his music. If you worry that he has gotten away from the rock so to speak, what is wrong with that i just love to hear him sing. His voice is unusual and awesome. His statments are still there so why are you all complaining, sit back and enjoy. Let the man sing!

I agree with Liz and rhea1104: Chris Cornell could sing the phone book and I would like it. Never was a big Soundgarden fan, but always a huge admirer of the quality of Chris’s voice which is magnificent. Say what you will and nitpick all you like, but Long Gone is far from the worst song ever; it’s just different. And I’ve been mainlining Scream for the past three days…it’s hauntingly beautiful.
Mourn the passing of Chris’ grunge metal days and then let it rest. We should be glad the man is still around with his instrument intact and willing to use it.

It’s always difficult to watch an artist grow and wander off into unfamiliar territory but that is the spirit of being an artist. Following the feeling, sound, moment of whatever is inspiring you…without worrying too much about what other’s might think or how they might judge you. I’m sure Chris is expecting much of the reaction that he’s getting and more so once the album hits. I say stick to your convictions! It’s not about him losing fans, it’s about his fans losing him. I say stick around for the ride!!

Never mind Chris Cornell, I want to know what happened to Chris CONNELLY.

I like it, my favorite album all time is Euphoria Morning….to all those haters, you just need to whine because that is what you do and you live in the past and are nobodies and never will be anybody…this is great stuff, no one beats cornell’s voice
