She loved the Nemo Design space so much she’s coming back. Anyway, we sat down and shared musical notes..I was happy to push Dubstep and in particular Burial on to her. She came back with Easter Egg who is a Portland-based musician/DJ who’s MySpace site lists his ‘band members’ as – “Me, being Nathan, my MacBook that I try to keep clean and white, a legit copy of Ableton Live that I barely know how to use, and the assistance of whoever I feel like sampling.” He’s hot on the heels of Girl Talk< ,/a>. He just got props from Ratatat for the remix he did of Cherry. [Nilina also turned me on to some cool Metronomy tracks, more on them later.] [...]
