British rock band, The Cribs, play the Doug Fir tonight [Friday July 27th] in support of their Warner Bros. Records debut, ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever.’ Produced by Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos, and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, At The Drive-In), the album captures the Jarman brothers trio – known to their mum as twins Ryan and Gary on guitar, bass and vocals and kid brother Ross on drums blasting out cheeky pop songs with provocative punk power. And they are after all from Yorkshire where a certain post-punk band came from…Anyway, the first US single, “Men’s Needs,†remixed by CSS is here for your perusal.
