Mr King in full stride, Chicago 2005.
OK Day 8 and this is MP3 #6, [so I got behind....the pressure!] Anthrax live. Anthrax is the song that turned out to be a signature tune for us. Somewhat like when Hendrix played Star Spangled Banner. Stay tuned for 6 more MP3s over the next 7 (?) days.

I remember first time I heard this track was on the “Dogs In Space” soundtrack, blew my head away. The film was pretty good(from memory) Australian film about the post punk music scene in Sydney.
July 1st, 2007 at 2:23 pmThanks so much for making these tracks available, Dave. They sound great. Mother’s, alas, is no longer around here in New York City (in fact, we’re losing all our cool music spots these days). Mother’s – the place where Seymour Stein first checked out the Ramones, incidentally – was on 14th St., if I’m not mistaken. Just wondering, would you be willing to share any thoughts here about Anthrax – how did such a unique, extraordinary song come together?
July 6th, 2007 at 5:30 pmSo Mothers R.I.P. huh? That’s a shame and sorry to hear that it’s gone but I suspected as much…let me think about Anthrax and get back to you on that one….
