Kiss the old site goodbye
So I decided it was time for a facelift. The Moose has been truckin’ along since the first ever test post for more than a year now and I figured a little facelift was overdue. First things first – if you are having trouble with the site loading or looking broken then please CLEAR YOUR BROWSER’S CACHE. That will fix it. Otherwise I hope that the improvements that include better navigation, categories spelled out, archives for you readers who like that sort of thing and a way to play the podcast directly from the home page are actually considered ‘improvements’ by you folks. Given that 100’s of thousands of unique visitors come by each month I feel very obligated to keep you all happy…..Hit the comments button for feedback. Thanks, Dave.

May 16th, 2007 at 9:55 pmi think in short bursts reading grey copy on black really pops. i wouldn’t want to read a novel this way, but for web consumption i think the readability is on target.

I was a little partial to the white background just cuz it was easy to read but this is a lot nicer direction I would agree on the font and backgruond color needing to contrast a little more. One major thing is that I am running IE6.02 at work and the sections are staggered. Left side is at the top, scroll to the middle to see the middle section and scroll even further to see the side posts and then the opposite thing happens when I post something, left side at the bottom and middle at the top.
