Well last night was what might be called a good old barn stormin’ night out. The Roots, who love this town by the way, played for two and a half hours, switching from hip hop to rock to swing and also found time to play a 20 minute homage to James Brown. And as if that wasn’t enough we all swung by Masu Sushi afterwards and The Roots leader, Questlove, banged out a 3 hour DJ set…..maybe he’s turning into Prince.. Thanks to Marciano from Mass Gatherings for getting me everywhere I needed to be last night. Click image to play, right click to save….
